Nowadays, most of us are active on multiple social media networks. To mention a few, there is Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. If you are a creative who is active on many platforms, it can be difficult to choose the proper profile to share with your Instagram audience. But did you know you can combine all of these links into a single one? Today, we'll look at a service called Linktree that allows us to do precisely that.


Why do you need Linktree for Instagram

As long as you don't have more than 10,000 Instagram followers, you can include a tap-able link to your content in your bio. Another limitation is that you can only include one link in your profile. This is easily remedied by creating a custom page on Linktree. You may also connect YouTube, SoundCloud, and other services. Now that you've shared your Linktree link on Instagram, your admirers will be able to discover all of your content across all platforms. So, without further ado, let's get started.


How to Register for a Linktree Account

You may simply establish a Linktree account using your email address or by using Google's quick login feature.


1. Navigate to Linktree's website and click the Sign Up button in the upper right corner.

Please keep in mind that the Instagram quick login option is no longer functional, so do not use it.

2. Enter all of your information, including your email address, username, and password. Then click the Register button.

3. You will be taken to a step-up page. Give your profile a name and select the profile type with which you want to link. You may be required to complete a captcha test after that. At the bottom, select the Save Details option.

4. On the following screen, choose the plan selection. In this instance, we'll go with the paid option. To complete the setup, click Continue with Free.

5. Before you may use Linktree, you must first validate your account. Simply go to your inbox and press the Verify Email button. On the following page, click Continue. And that's it. You have now successfully registered a Linktree account and will be taken to your dashboard.

How to make linktree on instagram

It's a frequent misconception that you can use Instagram to construct a Linktree page. This isn't the case. Linktree's dashboard is the only place where you may add and change links. Let's have a look at how it's done.


1. To get started, go to Linktree's dashboard (homepage) and select the Add New Link button.

2. When you click the New Link button, a new URL tab will appear. The first option is the title, and the second is the URL. The title is the name that will display on the Linktree page, while the URL is the website that will be linked to it. In my situation, I've included a link to my YouTube channel, which is called Vaibhav's YouTube.

Take a look at the Linktree page preview on the right side of the dashboard to get a sense of scale. As soon as you make a change, it gets updated.

3. Finally, how do you share Linktree links with others? You have the option of copying the link or downloading a QR code. We will go with the first choice. To do so, go to the upper right corner and click the Share icon. Now select Copy my linktree URL from the drop-down menu.

4. Open your Instagram profile and click on Edit Profile option at the top.

5. Scroll down to Website Options, paste the Linktree URL, and submit the page at the bottom. You've just finished creating a Linktree and connecting it to Instagram.

If you wish to change, add, or remove a URL from your Linktree profile, you can do so quickly and effortlessly.

The Linktree membership options are straightforward. Only two options are available: free and paid. The Pro edition is $6 per month and comes with several extra features.

Because the free version already has a lot of features, I recommend giving it a try for a few weeks before upgrading. The Pro edition, on the other hand, is the way to go if you want capabilities like link scheduling (when links go live or expire) and daily analysis.
